Check out for departing guests is 11:00 a.m. If you need a late checkout, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will also be happy to store luggage after checkout so that you may enjoy your time on the island before catching that late ferry or flight. You will be charged an additional fee according to the number of hours you are in the suite or room beyond check-out time unless arrangements are made in advance of departure date.
One week before you arrive, the balance for your room is charged to the credit card that you have on file with us. Any additional charges such as tours, catering, theatre, etc. are charged to the same account. If you have gift certificates, travel vouchers, or coupons and did not present them to us when making your reservation, there will be a 5% charge on any amount refunded to your account.
Each guest room, suite and cottage should have two keys; if there is only one key, please notify our Guest Services Coordinator immediately upon arrival and we will provide an extra. Upon checkout, please leave the room keys in your room in the white sundry bowl. Missing keys will be assessed at $50.
Please respect the privacy and comfort of your fellow guests by observing quiet hours, including refraining from running jets on hot tubs and Jacuzzi tubs between 9:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. daily. Fines up to $200 are levied for excessive noise.
SMOKING & CANDLES
For the safety and comfort of our guests, the Inns are smoke-free facilities. Smoking in any of the guest rooms, suites or cottages is strictly prohibited, and will result in a $250 cleaning fee. Washington State law prohibits smoking within 20 feet of a door or window; this includes balconies and decks. Smoking is permitted outside on the common decks and in the gardens; there are litter receptacles for your convenience. Our insurance prohibits the use of open flame candles and lamps, but battery-operated candles may be enjoyed.
Families with children are welcome in our cottages and suites. Please let us know if we can offer you a pack and play for your baby or toddler. Breakfast is deliverd for your convenience to cottages and suites with kitchens. While the main Tucker House features adult-preferred accommodations, occasional exceptions can be made for well-behaved children over the age of 12 based on time of travel and availability.
Four-legged friends are welcome in all cottages and suites; there is a $25 fee per night. Only certified service dogs are permitted in the Garden Room Café. Guests traveling with pets are responsible for their care in and out of the rooms. Please do not leave your pet unattended at any time. If you have scheduled an activity to which you cannot take your pet, please contact our Guest Services Coordinator, 360-378-3587, for a list of pet sitters and day care facilities.
If your pet becomes a nuisance or disrupts other guests, we will ask you to find alternative accommodations for him/her. There are several kennels and doggie day care facilities on the Island, and we will be happy to provide a list for you.
Guests are responsible for any and all damage(s) caused by their pet, including noise and disturbance of other guests. Damage(s) will be assessed at replacement value and billed to your account.
If you are traveling with your own bicycle, we request that you park and lock your bike to one of our covered railings, or along with our bicycle fleet. We are not responsible for any loss or damage. We thank you in advance for not bringing your bicycle into your guest room, suite or cottage or any of the common areas.
DAMAGE & MISSING ITEMS
Guests are responsible for any and all damage to their guest room, suite or cottage beyond normal wear and tear, as well as for missing items. Stained linens, upholstery, bathrobes and missing items will be assessed at replacement value and billed to your account. If you would like one of our bathrobes, eco-friendly towels, or skin care products for your use at home, we sell them in our gift shop, and are happy to drop ship them to you as well.
