Volunteer Rewarded for Efforts

My husband and I enjoyed a marvelous weekend at the Tucker House in the Four Winds room last weekend. We were the lucky winners of a gift certificate donated by the Tucker House to the  League of Women Voters of Seattle -King County raffle last fall.  When I made reservations we made reservations for the Coho Restaurant. We were so glad we did! Such a delicious meal.

Grandparents were lined up to watch the kids and we had a memorable weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. I am an active volunteer with the League. Recently I edited and wrote some articles for the Seattle Times Newspapers in Education project (see attached) for the League. I had just wrapped up a voter registration drive working with student leaders at a local community college. I felt so appreciated for my efforts.
