The Tucker House Inn and Coho Restaurant are celebrating the Islands’ annual fall harvest festival “Savor the San Juan Islands” with special event dinners this October. Join us for three fabulous evenings of food, fun and friends October 3rd, 17th and 24th. Enjoy a multi-course dinner paired with wines from San Juan Vineyards and Sparkman Cellars for the Winemaker’s dinners and German Beers for our Oktoberfest celebration.
October 3rd – Oktoberfest – Coho Style Our third annual Oktoberfest dinner featuring German food paired with beers from the the iconic Ayinger Brewery from Aying, Bavaria, Germany: a small, independent sixth generation family-owned brewery just outside of Munich.
October 17th – San Juan Vineyards Chris Primus and Chef Bill Messick team up to present San Juan Vineyard’s 7th annual winemaker’s dinner.
October 24th – Sparkman Cellars Christian Sparkman, winemaker will lead us through dinner featuring 5 of his elegant, expressive and food-friendly wines.
Coho’s Executive Chef Bill Messick will create autumnal menus using local ingredients from Island farms. Six courses of food and 5 wines/beers – $45/person food + $25/wine pairing. Then make a night of it in one of our queen Jacuzzi guest rooms at the Tucker House for $99. Coho offers one seating at 6 p.m. Reservations are highly recommend for these popular events.
Coho Restaurant is a short stroll from the Tucker House Inn located in Friday Harbor’s historic downtown core. This “Best of the San Juan’s” restaurant serves Island grown Pacific cuisine with a Mediterranean flair. Coho’s wine cellar at 290 bottles has been recognized five years in a row by Wine Spectator with an Award of Excellence. Coho supports the San Juan Island local farm community by participating in the Island Grown Program and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program. Throughout the year, Coho presents special wine dinners and partners with Tucker House for lodging packages.
