There are a several ferries that travel to the San Juan Islands from Seattle, Sidney, B.C., Victoria, B.C., Bellingham, Port Townsend, and from Port Angeles.

Car or Foot Passenger Ferry from Seattle

From Seattle , there are two ferries - the Washington State Ferry and the Victoria Clipper. The Washington State Ferry System makes daily trips from Anacortes to the San Juan Islands. If you choose not to rent a car, there are several companies that run shuttle services from Seattle Takoma Airport and downtown Seattle locations to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal.

You can also take the Victoria Clipper is a foot passenger ferry that leaves daily from downtown Seattle. It runs from mid-April to mid-October.

The Clipper sails from Seattle's Pier 69 each day to Friday Harbor , Washington (May - September).
