Celebrating the Beatles Fundraiser for FHFF – March 29
It’s been 50 years since the Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan show and took contemporary music in a completely new direction. We wouldn’t have so many of our beloved music groups without them! To celebrate and honor the Beatles, the Friday Harbor Film Festival is hosting a fun-filled evening of film and music. Come dressed in your favorite outfit from the 60s; we will have prizes for the best costumes! And of course, come ready to sing and dance along to those classic songs we all know and love.
Ticket price includes two glasses of beer or wine, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, and heavy appetizers, all provided by some of our favorite local restaurants. There will also be a live auction featuring items such as passes to the film festival, a Pedego electric bike, a week’s stay on Kauai or weekend in Seattle, a weekend of sailing the San Juans, a 3-hour boat tour for you and your 30 closest friends, and much more.
The Friday Harbor Film Festival is primarily funded by donations, so come out, have some fun and do some good! Tickets are available at the Friday Harbor Film Festival office located at 10 First St. or call 298-1939.
