Relaxing Stay at Tucker House

We will return to Tucker house it was a very relaxing stay – just what we needed a break from our hectic busy lives!  You were just what what we needed and the breakfast were awesome!  We are talking about getting a feather top soon, we slept like 2 bugs in a rug.

Great Stay at Tucker House

We wanted to say we had a great time in the San Juan Islands and staying at Tucker House and dining at the Coho restaurant . My wife Sara enjoyed the duck it was prepared perfectly. I had the King Salmon which was just as good.

We did enjoy our stay very much, and would love to come back one day. Love the soaps and creams and will most likely be ordering them again. The breakfasts were yummy as well as the pastries and cookies each day. (Anna Maria, your vegetable omelet the one morning was especially amazingly light and delicious.) I will certainly recommend your accommodations to others.

We appreciated all the attention to detail and the efforts to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Delightful Getaway at Tucker House

Our recent stay at Tucker House Inn fulfilled and exceeded our every expectation. Our room provided a very private retreat framed by garden views all around. This considered, we were located in the heart of Friday Harbor, a few short blocks from the downtown and all it has to offer.

Each morning we were treated to a delicious and creatively-prepared breakfast. Any and all requests were generously and graciously accommodated. This particularly was evident when we asked that breakfast be delivered to our room one morning. During our entire stay, we were treated by all staff members, as highly valued guests. Thank you for such a delightful getaway!

Easter weekend was the fourth time I’ve been a guest at Tucker House Inn and Harrison House Suites.  Each stay has been delightful whether I’ve been in a suite or one of the individual rooms.  Staff have always been helpful about answering questions and responding to email inquiries.  Rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable; best of all are the delicious breakfasts and the tasty cookies that are waiting in the room when we return from a full day of activity.  I look forward to coming back.

Dear Tucker House Folks,

We have been to Friday Harbor many times since moving to Whidbey in 1981 but we’ve never ventured any further than the (name withheld by editor) at the top of the hill.  This was a new experience for a couple of old dogs!  Thank you so much for the attention to details.  My husband and I are both teachers so we tend to notice the little things that make a huge difference in the lives of others.

Celebrating 34 years of marriage at your place was an awesome respite from the busy time of year we decided to get married in!

We have been telling all our friends on the south end of Whidbey what a beautiful place you have and we would like to come back and spend a longer period of time in the “Goose on the Pond” cottage.  Thanks again and we hope you have a healthy, hopeful and happy 2011.

Guests Like Modern Bath in Traditional Room

Hello Anna Maria! Our stay in Patience Corner on December 14,15,16 was very enjoyable.  We especially liked having the whole house to ourselves!   The bathroom was an eye opener compared to the more traditional bedroom…..   The cookies were a nice touch.  LOVED the breakfasts.   We made friends with Chef John Hamilton & enjoyed talking with him……

Thank you.  We will keep you in mind when we inevitably will visit again.

Our expectations are high based on our last visit, and you certainly met them once again.  Breakfast is a highlight of the Tucker House experience and both Erin and John treated us very well.  The Coho dining experience was also up to expectations.  Alphonsine’s chicken was wonderful!
